On the 22nd of June 2023, Cape Precious Metals hosted our first networking event specifically for our clients in the Free State. For several years now, the Free State area has been managed by CPM\u2019s\u00a0 Sales Representative in KwaZulu-Natal, Mike Bleeker.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Although Mike travels regularly\u00a0 to the province to provide advice and products to manufacturing jewellers in the Bloemfontein, Welkom, Kroonstad and Bethlehem areas, CPM is always looking for innovative and exciting ways to serve our valued clients there. It was decided that we needed to offer the region a platform from which to discuss business and the industry in an environment away from the office.<\/p>\n

Mike was joined on the day by Malcolm Jenner, one of CPM’s Directors who also manages our KZN Branch, as well as Tennille Hoge (the Director of Cape Tools & Jewellery Supplies \u2013 formerly known as Cape Watch) and Sancia Mincher from\u00a0 Jewellers Network.<\/p>\n

Apart from the various tools on display (for which demonstrations were provided), participants had the opportunity to quiz the hosts on a variety of topics pertinent to the trade, and simply to get a sense of\u00a0 their peer landscape, to make connections, and to share their experiences with kindred spirits. The need for this kind of gathering was clearly evidenced by the steady stream of attendees passing though the\u00a0 conference room of the Castello Guesthouse from 9am to 4pm.<\/p>\n

It was wonderful to see so many clients in one place and to be so warmly received, and the outstanding attendance made it clearly evident that this very busy jewellery hub is ready for more of these events, and hungry for the opportunity to converse with folk who hold expertise in different and parallel sectors of this dynamic industry. We\u00a0 thank everyone who took time out of their busy day to join us.<\/p>\n
