Cape Precious Metals has been a supporter of Compass since 2017. This organisation does fantastic work providing shelter and services through their own registered social workers, as well as trained, qualified teachers and caregivers for the abused or abandoned babies and children in their care.
Their rehabilitation programme for homeless women and children provides professional counselling programmes through registered counsellors and mental health practitioners. They are a registered NPO and receive no state assistance, so contributions are always welcome.
In December 2021, CPM donated a 100g silver bar to Compass to raffle as part of their fundraising efforts. The bar was manufactured by our sister company, Moon Investments and went towards Compass’ recovery initiative, following the dire financial hardship that the COVID lockdowns created. Charities have been hit especially hard as their regular donors tightened purse strings in the wake of the economic downturns and general uncertainty. Now more than ever the essential work that social services provide is worthy of support.
Follow the Compass Facebook page to stay in informed of the work they’re doing and for updates on what provisions are needed currently, or contact them to see how you can be directly involved.
