CPM proudly sponsors the University of Stellenbosch’s 2021 Jewellery Competition Project

In November 2021 as part of CPM’s on-going relationship with the University of Stellenbosch, we sponsored prizes of silver and findings for “Liquorice Allsorts: an internal student competition exhibition” by the Creative Jewellery and Metal Design Division of Visual Arts Department.

This division is focused on educating jewellery design as a critical discipline that allows students to reflect on their surroundings and translate their ideas into three-dimensional wearable artworks that communicate and stimulate thought.

Course Leader Carine Terreblanche and Lecturer Mariambibi had this to say to CPM:

“Thank you very much for the generous prizes and for your continued support and service!“

  • 3rdyear second place: Kim Jooste

As usual, the winning entries displayed excellence in combining conceptual ideas with technical precision. More photos from the event including all items that were on display at the exhibition can be found on the Stellenbosch University Jewellery Division’s Facebook page here.

CPM sends heartfelt congratulations to the winners, as well as to all students battling through the challenges this pandemic has presented to tertiary education. May the immediate future bring easier times for all!
