CPM’s finished casting service makes your work easier
We’ve found that many of our clients are turning away jobs they don’t realise they can accept simply by outsourcing their casting to us. This is due to either a general aversion to casting work (stemming mostly from a misunderstanding of the process), or the lack of a valid gold permit. This is such an unnecessarily wasted opportunity!
Let’s take one of our clients as an example. He works primarily with silver, and was chatting to one of our sales execs about a request he received for a gold engagement ring. Without a permit, he was about to decline the job rather than operate illegally. Once he was advised that he could outsource the job to us, he gladly took on the commission and has been using us ever since, even for some of his silver work that does not need to be made by hand.

All we need from you is:
- The finger size (for rings)
- Stone size/s
- Reference photos and/or basic sketch/line drawing (this can be really simple!) or wax or rhino design
- Description in writing of the design including all relevant measurements – eg diameter of a bracelet etc
We will do the design and send it back to you for approval before we cast the piece. Our expert casters can also handle all the finishing for you. Your time is best spent conceptualising – not sandpapering, polishing and removing sprues. All that’s left to be done once you receive your carat-stamped item is to set the stones if applicable (and some of CPM’s branches can even do that for you too!)
